A brilliant performer now in his fifth decade as a songwriter/singer, Livingston Taylor is not re-inventing the wheel. His performance here shows his gift as a performer but also his gift as a teacher taking the stage with former Berklee College of Music student Matt Cusson. A delightful evening of music that provides a welcome departure from the anxieties of the day. What is more poignant with this particular evening was the interview with Livingston, certainly one of the best and most riveting we've seen at the Fallout Shelter. Livingston talks about songwriting, performing, career and stage presence both from the perspective of performer and professor. He tips his cap to older brother James Taylor in a most heartfelt way. This was an amazing evening of song and dialogue with one of the very best pure performers out there.
